Kelly Canavati

Kelly Canavati, Legislative Associate, joined the firm in January 2024. Prior to joining, Kelly worked at the Minnesota House of Representatives for 6 years in a variety of positions, including as a Committee Legislative Assistant and Research Consultant. She worked on taxes, bonding, commerce, and education issues. She has both in-depth knowledge of policy making and strong legislative relationships.  

Kelly also brings private sector experience to Almeida Public Affairs, having worked as a technology and software consultant in both the U.S. and Australia. She is a graduate of College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota, and lives in Maple Grove with her spouse and son.
